Who we are

This website and the enquiries it generates are handled by Compact Contech Sdn. Bhd., B-20, Medini, 9, Persiaran Medini Sentral 1, Bandar Medini, 79250 Iskandar Puteri, Johor Darul Ta'zim, Malaysia. What we collect and why

When you message us on WhatsApp, call, or email, we receive your name, phone number, your email address if you use it, and whatever you tell us about your property or project. Our website host also records technical information when you visit — your IP address, device and browser, the pages you view, and the links you click.

We use it to answer your enquiry, arrange a site visit or quotation, carry out the work you ask us for, measure our advertising, and keep our business and accounting records. We share it only where it is needed: with Meta and WhatsApp for advertising and messaging, with Netlify, which hosts this site, with our own team and contractors working on your project, and with advisers or a public authority where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not rent or trade it. Enquiries that do not become a project are kept for up to 24 months; project and accounting records are kept as long as the law requires.

Cookies and the Meta Pixel

This site uses the Meta Pixel (ID 1051070334595116) together with a small script of our own. Between them they record a page view when you arrive, and a “Contact” event when you click a WhatsApp or phone link, so we can tell which advertisements lead to real enquiries. The Pixel sets cookies and shares that information with Meta Platforms.

You can limit this: block or delete cookies in your browser settings, adjust your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account, or use Meta’s off-Facebook activity controls. Blocking the Pixel does not stop you using this website or contacting us.

Your data, including deleting it

Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you may ask to see the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, withdraw your consent to our using it, or limit how we use it. To have your data deleted, email info@compactcontech.com with the subject line “Data deletion request”, and tell us the name, phone number or email address you contacted us with so we can find your records.

We will confirm we received your request, delete what we are not required by law to keep, and tell you when it is done. Records we must retain for tax and legal reasons are deleted once that period ends; nothing is kept for marketing after you ask us to delete it.

Data Meta holds about how you interacted with our Facebook or Instagram ads is controlled by Meta, not by us. You can review or remove it yourself in your Facebook account under Settings & privacy → Your activity → Off-Facebook activity. If you have a complaint about how we handled your data, write to us at the address above first and we will try to put it right.

If our practices change, this notice changes with them. The date below shows when it was last updated.
